Care Associate - Memory Care (MC)

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. Position Overview Salary: $19-$21.50 per hour Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents. Assist, encourage, and deliver restorative interventions to Memory Care residents to promote independence in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Participate in and lead one‑on‑one and group activities. Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory‑care laundry, and perform basic housekeeping within the memory‑care neighborhood. Respond promptly to resident, family, or employee concerns and follow up to achieve a high level of satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co‑workers. Qualifications Experience working with seniors with dementia, including participation in activities, is preferred. Proficiency in English sufficient to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergency situations. Requirement of a CNA or CHHA license, depending on state regulations. Basic computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Compassionate, kind, engaging, and helpful attitude. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to situations with limited standardization. Maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co‑workers.
