Morrison Healthcare is hiring for a Patient Service Supervisor. Job Summary As a Patient Services Supervisor, you will assist in the successful operation and customer service of the Food & Nutrition Services Department. This entry-level manager role is an exciting opportunity to build a career in the food service industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure patient and client satisfaction, meeting and exceeding expectations. Provide menu alternatives for prescribed diets, considering allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. Interact with nursing staff and evaluate patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval daily. Resolve patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or report concerns to supervisor as appropriate. Assist with all food service activities, primarily patient meal assembly and delivery; including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all facility-related activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 2 years of food service experience. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations. Knowledge of food trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with management, clients, customers, and associate levels. Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet). ServSafe Certification preferred.
