Lead DevOps Engineer

Job TitleResponsibilities:13+ years’ experience with distributed applications at scale in cloud (AWS), or equivalent experience.Expert knowledge of AWS services and architecture patternsProven experience scaling large, distributed applicationsStrong background in infrastructure and application securityHands-on experience with Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, CDN, DDoS mitigation)Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocolsDesign and implement cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and compute resourcesEnsure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations by implementing security controls, access management, and encryptionTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applicationsAuthoring automated deployments using Terraform and/or CloudFormationAutomated provision/orchestration of AWS resourcesSystem performance monitoring, reporting and optimizationExperience with containers (Docker, EKS) and serverless (Lambda).Experience in implementing various AWS solutions like Data Sync, Batch Job, EMRExperience bootstrapping and automating the build of complete Kubernetes environmentsExperience with automated build in Jenkins or similar CI toolsExperience in managing multiple AWS environments and the AWS ecosystem.Soft Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage conflict effectively.Ability to adapt and be productive in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills supporting multiple stakeholders and business operations.Self-starter, self-managed, and a team player.Preferred QualificationsDeep understanding of high-performance/distributed computing concepts, software development lifecycle and database and query performance monitoring/tuningAbility to automate builds, repetitive tasks, log analysis programmatically
