Technical Program Manager
$100 per hourPeople, Data & Solutions
Overview : The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead the transformation of compliance and regulatory reporting processes from fragmented, manual workflows into a scalable, automated, and multi-product operating model. This role will partner across Compliance, Risk, Data Engineering, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to define a unified reporting strategy, establish a migration roadmap, and execute the transition to a future-state solution architecture.
The TPM will serve as the central coordinator across business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on reporting requirements, dependencies, delivery milestones, governance, and operational readiness.
The TPM will focus on the following three primary workstreams:
Consolidate Compliance & Regulatory Reporting Use Cases
1. Inventory and document existing compliance and regulatory reporting workflows across products, regions, and operational teams.
2. Identify overlapping data requirements, duplicated processes, manual touchpoints, and inconsistent reporting logic.
3. Partner with business stakeholders to define standardized reporting requirements, KPIs, SLAs, controls, and governance expectations.
4. Create a consolidated view of current-state architecture, data sources, ownership models, and reporting dependencies.
5. Prioritize use cases based on regulatory impact, operational risk, scalability opportunity, and implementation complexity.
Deliverables:
1. Current-state process and systems assessment
2. Reporting use case inventory and prioritization framework
3. Gap analysis and dependency mapping
4. Stakeholder alignment and governance model
Define Migration Strategy & Future-State Operating Model
1. Develop a scalable migration strategy from current manual workflows to an automation-first reporting platform.
2. Define the future-state operating model, including data pipelines, controls, orchestration, ownership, and monitoring requirements.
3. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align on architecture principles and reusable platform capabilities supporting multiple products and jurisdictions.
4. Establish phased migration plans, sequencing dependencies, risks, milestones, and success metrics.
5. Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and strengthen auditability and compliance controls.
Deliverables:
1. Future-state solution and operating model definition
2. Multi-phase migration roadmap
3. Risk and dependency management plan
4. Automation and scalability recommendations
5. Executive-ready status reporting and program governance structure
Drive Execution of Migration & Transformation Program
1. Launch and manage execution of approved migration initiatives across business and technical teams.
2. Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Data, and Operations stakeholders.
3. Track milestones, risks, blockers, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
4. Establish program governance mechanisms including working groups, steering committees, and reporting cadences.
5. Drive change management, operational readiness, testing coordination, and stakeholder communications throughout the migration lifecycle.
6. Monitor adoption and ensure successful transition of legacy manual processes into the new scalable framework.
Deliverables:
1. Program execution plan and delivery tracking
2. Cross-functional governance and communication cadence
3. Migration execution status dashboards and risk reporting
4. Operational readiness and transition support
5. Post-migration success metrics and stabilization tracking
