Ultrasound TechnologistScheduleDay Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm - No call, no weekends, or holidays.Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing general ultrasound exams including Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials. The technologist must evaluate, synthesize, and effectively communicate diagnostic information to the referring physician and radiologist while ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department.ResponsibilitiesIndependently perform ultrasound general exams.Evaluate and communicate diagnostic findings to physicians and radiologists.Ensure patient safety within the Imaging Department.Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and coordinate repairs with service engineers.Organize daily work schedule and handle related clerical duties, including patient scheduling.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and healthcare teams.Willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust have ARRT and ARDMS certifications.Current BLS certification.Must be in compliance with continuing medical education (CME).Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
