Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Float to like or lower acuity units across multiple campuses as needed, excluding the Emergency Department
• Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend
• Complete non-billable orientation modules by assigned deadlines
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA) required at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history required
• 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no new RTO requests after submission
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or health system locations
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a high-volume acute care environment
• Flexibility with interview availability, including same-day and next 3 business days
