The Medical Billing Manager oversees a small team responsible for managing and executing all medical billing operations. This role ensures accurate posting, efficient billing processes, and effective coordination of collections and account management to maintain the financial health of the organization.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise medical billing activities and staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform medical billing and posting tasks as needed
• Coordinate billing and collections to manage sunset accounts effectively
• Lead a small team of 1-5 billing staff, providing guidance and support
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
• Prepare and deliver billing reports to management

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in medical billing
• Expertise in medical billing and accounts receivable processes
• Strong time management skills
