TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, 17042!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required Description: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays. If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, travelers will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Night shift hours are 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends as needed, likely every other weekend. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine compatibility. If the candidate passes clinical review, they will be sent to management for final decision. Management will conduct interviews. The unit may care for patients with COVID. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Local candidates will be offered at a lower pay rate. Travelers will receive 1 day of orientation and then will be expected to take assignments. Float to all medical-surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation may be required. Additional qualifications include the ability to manage various medical tasks, including blood product administration, CVA care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Staffing ratios on nights are typically 5 patients to 1 nurse. The unit has an interdisciplinary support system, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. This position involves caring for patients with multiple diagnoses, including respiratory illness and heart failure. Travelers must minimize requests for time off to 7 days maximum. No license hits are accepted. Local candidates may have different pay requirements. Candidates must provide proof of specific certifications and must pass any necessary testing. Travel pairs are permitted; however, matched schedules cannot be guaranteed. Modules are required before start and can take a few hours to complete.
