Role Overview The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing skilled speech and language pathology services to patients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities, tailoring assessments and treatments to individual physical and age-related needs. Working in a home health setting, the role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and offering professional consultations to promote maximum independence and functional improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver speech/language therapy to patients in their homes Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans Provide professional consultations to support patient progress Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care Qualifications & Skills Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License Completion of specialized training or coursework as needed Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and communication skills Additional Information The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and voluntary benefits.
