Director, Incentive Compensation, Sales Planning, & Launches

Biogen seeks a Director to lead incentive compensation, sales planning, and field deployment strategy across North America. This strategic role partners with sales and commercial leadership to design performance-driven compensation programs and optimize field resource allocation across specialty pharma and rare disease markets.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, governance, and administration of incentive compensation programs
Develop compensation plans for specialty sales, rare disease, account managers, and market access roles
Design and execute annual sales planning including field sizing, territory alignments, and deployment optimization
Create call planning and account planning frameworks supporting integrated health systems and specialty providers
Partner with Decision Sciences to translate customer segmentation and analytics into actionable deployment decisions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MSc, PharmD, or related advanced degree preferred
10+ years in biotech, pharma, commercial operations, sales ops, or sales force effectiveness
5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
Deep expertise in incentive compensation strategy, design, and administration
Demonstrated experience with territory alignments and field deployment strategy
Knowledge of specialty pharma, rare disease markets, and buy-and-bill channels
Proficiency with account planning and key account management models
