I opened my agency in 2017 after spending seven years as a State Farm team member. That experience gave me a strong foundation in customer service and agency operations, but it also taught me the importance of having a supportive team and a positive work environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, building relationships, and identifying opportunities to better protect our customers. You will play an important role in making sure customers feel supported, informed, and confident in the service they receive from our office.

This is a customer-service-focused role with a sales component . In addition to assisting customers with their day-to-day needs, you will look for opportunities to strengthen relationships and help ensure their insurance needs are being addressed.

Through everyday customer conversations, you’ll help identify additional needs, introduce relevant products and coverage options, and support strong, lasting customer relationships.

You’ll work closely with customers and other team members to provide a positive customer experience while helping build strong, lasting customer relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers with questions and day-to-day service needs
• Respond to customer calls, messages, and follow-up requests in a timely and professional manner
• Help resolve customer concerns while providing a positive customer experience 
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed 
• Follow up with customers and assist with customer retention 
• Use customer conversations to identify additional needs and introduce relevant products or coverage options when appropriate 
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure customer needs are handled and followed through 
• Help create a friendly, welcoming, and professional experience for every customer 
• Support the team with additional office and customer service needs as needed

• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, text, and other communication channels 
• Adaptable to change 
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities 
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills 
• Able to remain calm and professional during challenging customer conversations 
• Comfortable learning about insurance products and discussing customer needs 
• Previous customer service experience preferred 
• Insurance experience is a plus, but not required
