Regular team meetings and case consultations will occur via video conferencing platforms to ensure cohesiveness and collaboration within our team.
Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms among clients.
\n Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
\n Implement evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote positive behavioral changes.
\n Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery process.
\n Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs.
\n Connect and collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.
\n Engage in ongoing professional development by keeping abreast of the latest research in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic techniques.
\n Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of client privacy.

\n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The primary patient population for this role includes individuals coping with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients often face a broad spectrum of challenges, including socioeconomic struggles, past trauma, and varying levels of resilience. You will engage with diverse groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, emphasizing empathy and culturally sensitive care.
Qualifications\n \n A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
\n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
