Operates fixed mammographic equipment to obtain quality images. Assist physicians in examinations by assisting in sterile procedures, etc. In addition performs DEXA Bone Density studies. Maintains detailed QC and calibration records for annual inspections. Qualifications for the job... Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as normally acquired through completion of two years post high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)(M) required. Up to twenty-four months experience necessary in order to gain familiarity with hospital environment and department routine, polices and procedures in diagnostic radiology and any specialty areas. Formal education in specialty areas would be accepted in lieu of experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
