RV TechnicianAn RV Technician is responsible for providing the highest quality repair services to Southport Truck Group's customers and maintaining exceptional customer service. Servicing the dedicated brand of Freightliner Custom Chassis motorhome.Essential DutiesInspect, diagnose, and repair general RVs, including but not limited to aftertreatment, engine repair, and suspensionDocument all repairs and pertinent information to the work performed and track job time on dealer management system(s) via a repair orderPerform preventive maintenance as neededTag and document all warranty and core items appropriatelyAssist other Technicians in more difficult and complex maintenance and repair tasks if neededMaintain and enhance mechanical knowledge and stay current on required OE trainingOccasional periods of lifting and carrying supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or moreAdhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, security, and quality managementRecognize and reporting all accidents and hazardous conditionsPromote workplace safety proceduresAdhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibilityPerform other work-related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience working on RVsDiagnostic and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment utilized in RV repairsPossess work-related hand tools (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools)A neat and organized approach to work & reportingAbility to operate maintenance equipment safelyAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionsAbility to meet attendance requirementsAbility to spend prolonged periods of time standing or walkingAbility to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit on a regular basis with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 poundsAbility to test drive repaired vehicles to gauge their performanceBenefits IncludeCompetitive PayHealth Insurance - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and more401K Plan with Company ContributionsPaid Time OffPaid TrainingEmployee Assistance ProgramGrowth Opportunities
