This Mission: As an IT Intern, your primary objective is to be the go-to, tech-savvy problem solver who translates "nerd speak" into plain English for our team. You are responsible for system setup associated with onboarding and offboarding team members, answering everyday tech questions, optimizing Google Workspace, and supporting Google devices. As an approachable line of support for our team, you ensure our everyday technology works seamlessly so our team member-owners can focus on supplying happiness. The Essentials: 

• Is logical, highly resourceful, and organized with daily tasks.
• Loves working with Google / GSuite and knows the Google operating system inside and out.
• Excels at translating complex tech concepts into regular English for non-technical team members.
• Can multitask seamlessly, keep a clear priority list, and reliably get things done.

Note: This position is not for someone who wants to sit in an IT closet running wires/installing switches, dislikes communicating with people, or prefers Apple/iPhone ecosystems. We already have network engineers—we need a communicative, everyday tech advocate. 

Defining the Role: 

• Onboarding & Offboarding Setup: Manage and execute all system setup and access configuration required when team members join or leave Drexel.
• Asset Management: Visit Drexel locations to deliver, set up, and collect IT hardware, ensuring all inventory is accurately tracked and allocated in system records.
• Everyday Tech Support: Serve as the friendly, approachable go-to person for daily computer, phone, and technology questions across the team.
• Google Workspace & Cloud Solutions: Administer, organize, and optimize GSuite tools to keep team workflows efficient.
• Google Device Support: Provide support, setup, and troubleshooting for Google operating systems.

• Approachable Resolution: Resolving everyday tech questions quickly while maintaining clear, friendly, non-technical communication.
• Seamless Onboarding & Offboarding: Ensuring system access, accounts, and hardware setups/deactivations are executed smoothly and accurately for all team transitions.
• Proactive Asset Management: Transporting, configuring, and tracking hardware across locations while maintaining accurate inventory records.
