Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Kentucky Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. No new graduates. Must have outpatient experience as a licensed clinician within the last 3 years. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Demonstrated competency in comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment plan development, documentation, and charge entry in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy support staff and participate in student education as assigned. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Kentucky Practice Act. Preferred: experience with outpatient functional treatment programs, safe patient handling techniques, and electronic medical record systems commonly used in outpatient clinics.
