Senior Java Developer with AWS

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Developer with AWS for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and modern technologies like Spring, Kafka, and RabbitMQ while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Rate Range: $47/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Senior Java Developer with AWS Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications using Spring framework and messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Build and enhance user interfaces using Angular or React to deliver responsive and user-friendly applications.
• Manage and optimize large-scale data systems using Cassandra and Oracle databases.
• Develop and execute API testing using tools like Postman and Insomnia, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, participate in sprint activities, and maintain code using Git version control.
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance tuning, and continuous improvement in software development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and enterprise application engineering.
• Strong expertise in Spring framework, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and UI technologies like Angular or React.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies (Cassandra, Oracle), API testing tools, and Agile development practices with version control systems like Git.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
