RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work on 2nd floor CVICU with 12-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 assignments based on patient acuity
• Every other weekend scheduled to work; no on-call required
• Floating to MICU and CVIMU as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS/BLS
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Must have knowledge of caring for intubated patients
• Must have knowledge of caring for patients with titrating vasoactive medications
• CV ICU background preferred
• Ability to care for device patients preferred
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, PrisMax, ECMO, Alaris IV pumps, Edwards Hemospheres, and ventilators
• EMR system: Meditech
• Handle typical procedures including recovery from open-heart surgery, intubation, extubation, bedside bronchoscopy, and bedside line insertion
• Must be willing to be a team player
