Work Environment\nThis remote role allows counselors to deliver care from the comfort of their own chosen environment, which can foster productivity and work-life balance. Team members engage collaboratively through virtual platforms, ensuring a connected and supportive culture despite physical distances. The full-time schedule operates Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering structure while allowing flexibility in the delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage a dedicated caseload of clients, establishing rapport and effective therapeutic relationships while consistently maintaining professional boundaries and ethics. \n
- Conduct regular check-in sessions with clients to review their progress, provide support, and plan for future appointments, including assessing discharge readiness when appropriate. \n
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized, clinically-driven treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs and goals. \n
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Utilize electronic systems and software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, for scheduling and client management. \n
The primary focus of this role revolves around providing therapeutic services to an outpatient population in a variety of circumstances, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, making cultural competence and empathy essential qualities for our counselors.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required. \n
- Current, unrestricted, and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. \n
- A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is mandatory. \n
- Comfortable using computers and software relevant to the role, including experience with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY. \n

- Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families. \n
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidenced-based practices tailored to diverse client needs. \n
- Experience in crisis intervention and management of complex clinical situations. \n
