Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required in a related specialty License: Valid Registered Nurse License in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Expertise in clinical judgment and hemodynamic monitoring - Ability to respond rapidly to emergent situations Description: The Registered Nurse in the Catheterization Laboratory provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include the assessment, preparation, monitoring, sedation management, and recovery of patients before, during, and after procedures. The nurse collaborates with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Compliance with safety, regulatory, and professional standards is essential. The role requires participation in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
