Developer-Full Stack Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Specialist for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate is responsible for leads and mentors engineering teams while driving the design and delivery of scalable data and AI-driven solutions, ensuring high-quality code, robust architecture, and enterprise-wide platform innovation.

Rate Range: $100/hour to $107/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Developer-Full Stack Specialist Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical leadership by designing, developing, and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms and AI-driven applications.
• Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional engineering teams while fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Drive architecture decisions for microservices, cloud (AWS), and distributed systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee the implementation of modern data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical strategies with organizational goals and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, CI/CD, DevOps, and AI/ML integration while enabling adoption of emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience across Java, .NET, Python, AWS Cloud, Microservices, Kubernetes, and modern Angular versions.
• 7-8 years of leadership experience with proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems, data platforms, and AI/ML-driven solutions in enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $100.00 to $107.00 per hour
