As we continue to scale our platform, products, and partnerships, we are looking for a Project Manager - Advanced to help drive our most critical, cross‑functional initiatives, including business‑critical programs that require strong execution, leadership, and comfort operating in ambiguity.Job Summary:Clarus is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager - Advanced to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from concept through delivery. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, and Business teams, ensuring successful execution of critical programs while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management expertise with Agile leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams. This role requires an outgoing, relationship-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationJob Location: Remote – USA; Candidates able to work in a Hybrid capacity from Chicago, IL are preferred.Main Responsibilities:Agile Leadership & DeliveryChampion Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and hybrid delivery approaches.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, reviews, and daily stand-ups.Coach teams on Agile best practices to improve delivery predictability, quality, and team effectiveness.Lead the organization to best practices in reporting, dashboarding, and analytical excellence.Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leaders to prioritize work and maximize business value.Project & Program SupportLead multiple concurrent technical projects and strategic initiatives across engineering and business teams.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, dependencies, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.Participate with intake, prioritization, and product roadmap analysis.Drive projects from inception through deployment while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Facilitate decision-making and remove obstacles that may impact delivery timelines.Team Coaching & DevelopmentMentor team members in project delivery and Agile execution.Mature our delivery process, fostering continuous improvementCoach stakeholders and leaders on Agile principles, change managementEncourage continuous improvement through retrospective action planning and performance feedback.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementBuild strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.Provide executive-level reporting and dashboarding on project health, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and vice versa.Facilitate alignment across teams and departments to ensure successful outcomes.Technical PartnershipCollaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams.Understand technical architectures, system integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycles.Support planning and execution of large-scale technology transformations and platform initiatives.Ensure that technical dependencies and architectural requirements are incorporated into project plans.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of project or program management experience in technology organizations.5+ years managing complex software development or enterprise technology projects.Strong experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery teams.Demonstrated success managing multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Experience with Azure DevOps, and project management tools.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification.PMP or equivalentExperience in cloud technologies, Azure preferredBackground working with software engineering, data platforms, APIs, or enterprise systems.Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or transformational business environments.Desired Personal AttributesEnergetic, outgoing, and highly collaborative.Natural coach and mentor with a servant leadership mindset.Confident communicator who can engage executives, customers, and technical teams.Adaptable and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Positive attitude with a passion for helping teams succeed.Comfortable in highly ambiguous environmentAdditional Information:You must be authorized to work in the U.S.Hours are flexible, but availability during core business hours (Eastern or Central) is expected.Requires travel of up to 10%.Compensation:National base pay range:$112,522 – $140,653 per year.Chicag, IL and Boston, MA base pay range: $123,774 – $154,718 per year.This is the range we reasonably expect to pay at hire. Placement within the range depends on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and certifications. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
