Mammography Technologist

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This assignment provides professional growth through collaboration with dedicated colleagues and exposure to a range of advanced imaging procedures and protocols. Schedule 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 5x8-hour shifts per week 13-week assignment Rotating weekends (every couple of months) No holidays, no on-call requirements Key Qualifications Current certification in mammography and radiologic technology Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mammography required Experience in a breast center or similar setting preferred Familiarity with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations for mammography Strong communication and patient care skills Primary Responsibilities Perform high-quality mammography exams per ACR requirements across diverse patient populations Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, localizations, and related procedures Ensure precise patient and film identification, maintain accurate documentation and quality standards Participate in quality control and assurance, including image processing and equipment checks Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures Accurately maintain patient charts and assist with statistics tracking and reporting Attractive Benefits & Perks Gain new perspectives working within a collaborative, expert team in a modern breast center.
