Financial Analyst - seeking public accountants

Financial Analyst | Hybrid | Swedesboro, NJ Area Join a Growing Finance Team with High Visibility We're partnering with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing organization to hire a Financial Analyst for a newly created position. This role was created due to company growth and offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while helping shape the organization's financial planning and analysis function. Location: Swedesboro, NJ Area Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 (up to $105,000 for highly qualified candidates) + 5% annual performance bonus What You'll Do Support annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and month-end close activities. Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Prepare recurring financial and operational reporting packages for senior leadership. Build financial models, dashboards, and business cases to support strategic initiatives. Perform product costing, gross margin, and profitability analysis across products and customers. Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, overhead, scrap, and production yields. Maintain standard cost models and support cost allocation methodologies. Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production data to ensure costing accuracy. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Sales to identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor inventory, working capital, and reserve trends. Develop ROI analyses for capital investments and operational improvement projects. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and business visibility. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance . 3–6+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or audit. Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central or similar preferred). Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Highly Preferred Public accounting experience Manufacturing or food manufacturing industry experience. Cost accounting and standard costing experience. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. CPA, CMA, or MBA.
