What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to help create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting engaging, hands-on learning experiences

Building positive relationships with children and families

Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

Assisting with daily routines and transitions

Working collaboratively with your teaching team

Helping create a classroom where every child feels like they belong

Qualifications

High school diploma required

Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred

Reliable, dependable, and able to work well independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude with excellent communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of children

Must successfully complete all required state background clearances and licensing requirements
