About the Position

Job Title: Imaging - General Imaging Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in general CT experience from a hospital setting License: ARRT-CT Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: General CT experience from a hospital setting Experience with various patient types including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room cases Experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred) Description: Scanners available: 5 Patient types include some pediatric cases (approximately 2-3 per month, usually teenagers). Procedures include biopsies and drains. Patient ratios are 1:1. Support on the unit includes other CT techs, radiology RNs, RRT, and the code blue team. Charting system used is EPIC. Floating is not required. No weekend rotation or on-call duties. Holiday expectations include one summer and one winter holiday. The facility adheres to a fatigue policy where all staff cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Scrub color is flexible, excluding camouflage or denim.
