Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) currently seeking qualified candidates in Iowa City, Iowa. The position involves working in a specialized burn treatment and intermediate care unit, providing care for adult and pediatric burn patients as well as trauma cases. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Iowa City, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in Iowa or a compact state; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Two (2) years of experience in an ICU or burn unit setting with burn experience; Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a burn unit or intermediate care setting with burn patient care; Pediatric burn experience is a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The burn unit is equipped with advanced facilities including a hydrotherapy room, pediatric playroom, and rehabilitation gym. The unit cares for both inpatient and outpatient burn and trauma patients and is designated as a Level I Burn Center by the American College of Surgeons.
