Senior Application DeveloperEnterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Senior Application Developer to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesDevelop software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the business solution needs at enterprise, large-scale level. All work is within the application development framework used by the organization. Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client's goals to implement the business solution. Proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project needs. Work directly with Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client. Utilizes web-based software such as Java, HTML,.NET, AngularJS, Javascript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the build out of software applications.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Knowledge of enterprise-scale software development principles, application frameworks, and Agile and hybrid development methodologies.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts and Systems Architects.Proficiency in web application development using Java, JavaScript, HTML,.NET, AngularJS, SOAP, REST APIs, and web-based APIs.Knowledge of low-code/no-code development platforms, BPMN, and business process automation tools such as Appian, Salesforce, and Nintex.Ability to design and implement APIs, third-party applications, programming libraries, and automated business processes.Experience developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server and.NET development environments and integrating enterprise software solutions.Desired KSABe a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationsCandidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customersMust have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervisionMinimum Training, Education, and CertificationsBA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Business or related disciplineFive (5) years minimum total work experience in development.Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) in order to support LowCode/No-Code Development Platform models.Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools. Developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models,Experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.Industry recognized certificationPrefer SAFe Agile Certification or equivalentMinimum ClearanceSecretPhysical RequirementsRequired to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
