Operator I - Packaging Machine

Job Details Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am Pay $21.00 not including shift differential. Responsibilities Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run. Responsible for packaging machine set up and changeovers for production runs, following work instructions and SOPs. Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot and make adjustments in accordance with work standards. Follow escalation protocol promptly when troubleshooting efforts fail. Repackage raw material into finished product that meets packaging specifications and all quality standards. Coordinate with maintenance when escalation to maintenance support is needed for mechanical issues. Clean and sanitize production room and equipment. Use batch record information and basic mathematical skills to record and prepare accurate, complete information. Engage in technical training, compliance and other required training as an operations team member. Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift. Work as a team member to meet or exceed quality and production goals. Participate in continuous improvement activities to promote efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with supporting areas such as quality to resolve issues preventing operational goals. Perform related duties as assigned. Education High school diploma or GED required. Work Experience Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Skills and Knowledge Read, write and understand English to read documents, labels and instructions. Good written skills for accurate compliance documentation. Basic mathematical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships. Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
