Senior Business Analyst

Description Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Business analysts are responsible for creating new models that support business decisions by working closely with finance and IT teams to establish initiatives and strategies aimed at improving revenue and/or optimizing costs. Business analysts require a strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and key performance indicators. Responsibilities Creating a detailed business analysis to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions. Reporting to stakeholders and the Project Management Team. Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders. Prioritizing technical and functional requirements, identifying client needs, and determining feasibility. Acting as a communicator between the business and IT sides of the organization. Business analysts are tasked with prioritizing technical and functional requirements, identifying what clients want, and determining what is feasible to deliver. They must understand systems, involve stakeholders, and coordinate steps to get everyone on board. They play a key role as companies increasingly rely on data to inform business operations. Their work ranges from modernizing legacy systems to improving processes, customer satisfaction, and organizational coordination. Required and Desired Skills Oral and written communication skills. Experience Requirements Experience working as a Business Analyst – 4+ years required. Experience soliciting and documenting requirements – 4+ years required. Experience working with stakeholders to achieve goals – 4+ years required. Strong experience facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions – 4+ years required. Experience creating user stories and technical requirements – 4+ years required. Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) – 4+ years required. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills – required. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills across all levels – required. Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills – required. High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative, ability to handle multiple tasks beyond the routine – required.
