Salary: $16-$18
Larkin Industries, Inc., located in Pelham, AL, is seeking a dedicated shipping dock workerto join our high-performance manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be able to work well on a team to accomplish daily shipping goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and Unload freight from Trucks and trailers.
- Verify shipments against manifests and report discrepancies.
- Operate Forklifts and other dock equipment safely.
- Stage, sort, and organize freight for outbound shipments.
- Keep dock area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
- Proficiency using measuring instruments (tape measures, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
