Position Details Location: Portsmouth NH - other locations covering Rochester, Concord Derry, Bedford, or Merrimack Schedule: 4/5 days per week - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (days will be set upon hire) Not open weekends Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Administrative support: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate personnel. Referrals: Manage patient referrals to specialists, coordinate follow-ups, and keep patients informed. Inventory management: Monitor medical and office supplies, place orders, and ensure proper storage. Patient interaction: Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out, verify insurance, and collect payments. EMR maintenance: Accurately document findings, appointments, and updates in the electronic medical record system. Lab work: Prepare and process lab samples, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Skills We Value Organized multitasker: Handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a healthcare administrative or medical assistant role preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
