Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting salary $58 k–$64 k+bonus Excellent benefits package: medical, dental, vision Individual schedules determined by volume; weekend availability mandatory Location: RutherGlen, Virginia Duties and Responsibilities Lead all mixing‑center warehouse operations, supporting inbound and outbound perishable food shipments. Manage staffing schedules and labor planning to meet fluctuating volume demands. Monitor inbound loads, assign doors, and optimize delivery flow for maximum efficiency. Implement and enforce SOPs; train and coach employees to ensure full compliance. Track inbound/outbound orders, carrier performance, KPIs, and system updates. Conduct performance evaluations and lead daily operational planning meetings. Resolve exceptions quickly and maintain service levels in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Requirements and Qualifications Flexible schedule, including off‑hours, weekends, and holidays. Proven leadership experience in coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution. Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills. Effective communicator capable of leading a diverse workforce; bilingual is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related systems. Willingness to travel as needed. Minimum2years in a warehouse management role, preferably in food distribution/perishable experience. At least5years in management or supervisory capacity. At least2years of general warehouse operations experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, sit, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures within a distribution environment.
