Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant (RA) to join our team. As an RA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily needs of our residents, ensuring their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with other team members to create a positive living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.

- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as needed.

- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff.

- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.

- Participate in recreational activities and encourage resident involvement.

- Document care and services provided to residents accurately and promptly.

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in an assisted living or long-term care facility.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Basic understanding of senior care practices and regulations is a plus.
