Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a part-time School Psychologist working with a diverse and dynamic caseload. This contract opportunity focuses on students with significant needs, including those who are non-verbal, allowing you to use your expertise to make a tangible difference every day. Your primary responsibilities will center on conducting targeted testing, evaluations, and participating in IEP meetings—enabling you to support the development of effective educational strategies.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong background in psychological assessments and evaluations
- Comfort and adaptability working with high-needs and non-verbal students
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate meaningfully in IEP meetings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and resourceful approach to supporting students and their families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students requiring evaluation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and parents/guardians
- Develop, review, and update individualized education plans based on assessment findings
- Provide insights and recommendations for support strategies tailored to high-needs, non-verbal students
- Advocate for appropriate resources and accommodations to help all students thrive
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required
