Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Simpsonville, South Carolina Patient Service Center or Client office. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, providing customer service, and handling administrative tasks in a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and process billing data accurately
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain documentation logs
- Deliver exceptional customer service and perform clerical duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Three or more months experience as a phlebotomist
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Reliable transportation
