CT Technologist

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Computed Tomography (CT) - My client, a 200+ bed healthcare facility located in TN in the middle between Nashville and Knoxville has a need for CT Techs to join their team. This position is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists and|or staff physicians while administering ionizing radiation in the course of computerized tomography (CT) examinations in concordance with physician's orders. This professionally trained person will be responsible for the operation of CT scanners, flow rate injectors, an EKG monitoring system, a picture archiving system. This position is responsible for the use of radiographic supplies including iodinated contrast while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards. QUALIFICATIONS Associate's Degree required. Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology as a Radiographer and CT technologist. Or become certified in CT one year (12 months) after completion of all CT competency exams. Two years experience with all types of CT exams on multi-slice scanner is preferred. Operates Computerized Tomography scanners, flow regulated injectors, UPS systems, patient monitors, hospital computer systems and other associated medical imaging equipment. Have the ability to deal with patients, families and other hospital employees in a professional and caring manner in times of great stress and crises. Have the ability to handle constant pressure, stress and numerous interruptions associated with the busy schedule in the CT area. CT Technologist We have 3 open Full-Time CT Technologist positions (shifts below). The pay range is $30.14-$35.54|hr, depending on experience as to where they fall at within the pay range. o Friday 5:30a-4p, Sat|Sun 5:30a-6:30p o Friday|Saturday|Sunday 6p-6:30a o Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p We also offer a sign on bonus or loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation (with terms) and up to $5000 in relocation assistance: 0-1 years experience- $3,500 sign on bonus -OR- up to $3,500 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation 2+ years experience- $7,500 sign on bonus -OR- up to $3,500 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation Shift Differentials are as follows: $1.15 (if work 4 or more hours between 3p-11p) $1.65 (if work 4 or more hours between 11p-7a) $3.00 (weekends- if work between 11p Friday night to 7a Monday morning) $4.00 (holidays) The city is located about halfway between Knoxville and Nashville, approximately 100 miles west of Knoxville, 80 miles east of Nashville, and 80 miles north of Chattanooga.
