Accounting Specialist

Job Description

Accounting/HR Specialist - $24.00Temp-hire

Accounts Payable: Invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment preparation.
Accounts Receivable: Customer invoicing, payment applications, collections support, and account reconciliations.
General Ledger: Journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Month-End Close: Supporting timely month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Inventory Accounting: Assisting with inventory transactions, cost variances, and work-in-process (WIP) reconciliations.
Accounting Controls: Ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in the appropriate accounts and accounting periods.
Front Office Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and front office activities.
HR Support: Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Form I-9 and E-Verify, wage and hour, and EEO requirements, policies, and reporting procedures with the judgment to recognize where specialist advice is needed.
