OBGYN Nurse Practitioner -DFW Suburbs

About the Opportunity

Texas Health Medical Associates (part of Texas Health Mansfield) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join one of our outpatient clinics in Mansfield, TX and provide award-winning care in our community. Our service area is growing, and we are in need of a patient-centered nurse practitioner who will care for her patients like those they love the most. We have an established OBGYN and a fully staffed office and are just looking for our next provider to start seeing patients alongside our female physician. This Nurse Practitioner will be assigned to carry out functions of care as deemed appropriate by his/her supervising physician and in strict accordance with the established protocols and procedures.

We are looking for an OBGYN nurse practitioner who is:

* Experienced with OB for 2 years (supervising physician is willing to mentor)

* Experienced with high-risk OB (not required but is a plus)

* Passionate about helping women through every stage of life

* Open to board-certified FNP (with Women's Health experience) of WHNP

* Able to see a high volume of patients

What You'll Do

* Perform IUDs, well-women's exams, pap smears, routine OB visits, contraception visits, etc.

* Some hospital rounding may be required in the future (more clinic focused for now)

Qualifications

* Advanced Nurse Practitioner training from an accredited school of nursing

* Registered as an advanced Nurse Practitioner

* Board Certification required

* Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas (or in a qualifying compact state)

* BLS certification

* WHNP preferred but not required

* Experience in women's health as a board-certified nurse practitioner is required
