Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing organization in the Mequon area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity created due to growth and increased project workload.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating multiple projects from initial award through completion. This position works closely with customers, contractors, subcontractors, field operations, engineering, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience within construction, manufacturing, installation, or another technical environment and be comfortable managing several projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, installation plans, milestones, and project documentation.
• Coordinate project activities between customers, contractors, subcontractors, field personnel, engineering, and internal departments.
• Communicate project requirements, schedules, changes, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, materials, timelines, and overall job performance.
• Review actual versus estimated project costs and identify potential budget or scheduling concerns.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, services, and other resources required for project completion.
• Assist with project scope, change orders, proposals, contracts, invoicing, and other project documentation.
• Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize delays or additional costs.
• Maintain accurate project records related to job status, material flow, project changes, and other key activities.
• Support field installation activities and help resolve issues that arise during project execution.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the life of each project.
• Ensure projects meet company expectations for safety, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience in construction, manufacturing, installation, engineering, or a related technical environment.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, field operations, or installation teams
• Ability to successfully organize and manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working with project budgets, costs, schedules, and project documentation.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability and willingness to learn company-specific project and modeling software.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, including comfort working with measurements and geometry
• Ability to interpret project requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Construction or manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Valid driver's license and ability to periodically visit project/job sites.

Additional Details

This is an onsite position in Mequon, WI , with standard hours of 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. The position is primarily office-based but may include periodic travel and visits to active project sites.

Candidates may occasionally be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while visiting construction or installation sites.

Compensation: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, with potential flexibility for highly qualified candidates. This position is temp-to-hire with an anticipated permanent salary range of approximately
