Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist serving K-8th grade learners in a vibrant public charter school setting. This contract position offers the flexibility to provide either onsite or teletherapy services, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a way that best aligns with your professional style and preferences. The role covers a traditional full-time school schedule, running from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year in May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state of South Carolina
• Experience or training in delivering OT services within a school environment (K-8 preferred)
• Ability to provide both onsite and remote/teletherapy interventions
• Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Support the development of students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for academic participation
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and engagement
• Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school guidelines and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
