We are hiring dedicated, compassionate CNAs to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Chicago (West Peterson Ave, 60659, near neighborhoods of Lincolnwood and North Park). Casual/per diem unscheduled position. This casual position operates on a biweekly schedule (Sunday–Saturday) pay period working as needed on daylight, evening and overnight shifts. The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.29 - $24.17 for Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs). Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Responsibilities Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards. Works closely with all departments to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to a warm and caring convent environment. Engages in meaningful interactions with sisters and participates in teamwork to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment. Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent required. Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state is a plus but not required. Long‑term resident care or home care experience preferred but not required.
