We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to help lead one of the region's premier senior living dining programs.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you'll partner with the Director of Food & Beverage to oversee the daily operations of multiple dining venues, including:

• Elegant Independent Living dining
• Bistro & coffee bar
• Retail food service
• Catering and special events
• Resident hospitality experiences

You'll provide visible leadership by:

• Leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing dining service associates
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and daily operations
• Ensuring exceptional resident and guest satisfaction
• Driving hospitality, service, and food safety standards
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and associate engagement
• Coordinating special events and catering functions
• Collaborating with culinary leadership to deliver outstanding dining experiences
• Serving as the department leader in the Director's absence

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an energetic hospitality professional who brings:

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in hospitality, restaurant, healthcare dining, hotel, country club, or senior living
• Experience leading high-performing service teams
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Passion for exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and hospitality best practices
• Maryland ServSafe Certification (required)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
