RN - Oncology

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care medical-surgical oncology and extensive chemotherapy administration in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care in an outpatient oncology setting. Support infusion needs in collaboration with outpatient MDs. Monitor patients for chemotherapy‑related adverse effects and manage symptoms effectively. Provide patient education about chemotherapy, treatment plans, and side effects. Maintain accurate patient records and document care interventions and patient responses. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of acute care medical-surgical oncology experience is required. Previous outpatient oncology experience is preferred with a strong focus on chemotherapy. Current BLS certification is mandatory. ONS fundamentals of chemotherapy certification is required. Active compact RN license is accepted. Schedule This position is a Day Shift, 5x8‑Hour schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential acceptance of 4x9s (8:00 AM to 5:30 PM). There are no weekends or on‑call requirements.
