RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Registered Nurse / Cath Lab RN with Angio/Vascular Experience

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule (07:30 - 16:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Cath Lab settings and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, with the ability to perform diagnostic catheterizations and administer procedural sedation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer IV medications and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist with procedures involving activated clotting time (ACT) and cardiac stent placements.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Radiology.
• Participate in call rotations, approximately every 3rd week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiac settings.
• Current RN license to practice in South Carolina.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to float within the hospital or between affiliate hospitals as needed.
