About the Role

The Dean will also be involved in curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, and will collaborate with senior academic and nursing leadership to strengthen program quality and institutional outcomes. Candidates for the Dean of Nursing position at the company should have a Doctorate in Nursing or a related field, with a Master's degree considered for those with significant relevant experience. An active RN license in the State of Florida is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' in nursing education, with at least 3 years' in a leadership or administrative role, and a proven track record in improving nursing program outcomes. Essential skills include leadership, team management, academic program development, and a strong student-centered philosophy. The role demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, as well as experience in budget and resource management. The Dean must be adaptable, innovative, and committed to professional development in the ever-evolving field of nursing education and healthcare.
