JOB EXPECTATIONS Work in Kennesaw, GA office 2x per week - remotely up to 3x per week 10-7pm shift is non-negotiable Bilingual in Spanish/English Clear background (nothing past of pending) Be able to learn and adapt to our technology platform quickly, computer experience is a must JOB DESCRIPTION The primary function of this position is to work closely with IOU Financial merchants who are in the final stage of the loanprocess. This person will direct the merchant through the closing process via a recorded closing call. The Specialist will also handle any post-closing merchant questions, including but not limited to, balance and pay-off amount inquiries. The Specialist will be cross-trained to perform any and all closing duties as well as provide coverage for vacations or other absences. This position will communicate frequently with account executives, risk management, and production team members to accomplish its duties and responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITES Complete pre-closing due diligence checklist. Conduct closing calls with merchants, reviewing all terms and conditions of the loan as well as assisting with system support. Maintain closing call calendar. Assist merchants with logging into the platform to accept funds and perform identity verifications as needed. Recognize and proactively resolve potential problems during the loan closing/acceptance process. Communicate with Sales/Ops regarding any merchant concerns or closing issues. Assist merchants with post-closing needs as they relate to current loan account. Maintain timely and accurate records of all interactions with merchants and internal departments. Input weekly updates on master list and IOU platform. Upload bankruptcy documents received and send to appropriate parties. Review and present subordination agreements. Portfolio defense. Submit broker applications for Sales. Handle ECOAs for Processing. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic understanding of computer technology in a business environment. Be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to work effectively and proactively in a cross-functional team environment. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize to ensure effective and timely follow-up. One to three years of experience working in financial services and customer service. PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS Working in a fast-paced environment. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
