CNC Operator

Job Duties

CNC Operator 2nd & 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines (mill, lathe, or both) to manufacture parts to print

Read and interpret blueprints, including geometric tolerances

Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pressure micrometers

Maintain production rates while ensuring high‑quality output

Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments

Complete basic CNC programming as needed

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma

Minimum Experience Required

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience

Hands‑on experience with CNC milling and/or lathe machines

Strong math background

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of geometric tolerances (GD&T) is a plus

Ability to program and set up CNC machines

Proficient with precision measurement tools
