Responsibilities Provide direct clinical services to patients in the form of psychosocial assessments, as well as individual, family, and group treatment Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management Collaborate as a member of a multi-disciplinary integrated team for the development and delivery of treatment plans Foster excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers Represent the practice in community presentations and lectures as opportunities arise Contribute to enriching the training experience of graduate students Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Qualifications Clear and active Psychiatrist License (MD/DO) in the state of practice Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in the state of practice Obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of Behavioral Health experience in an outpatient clinical setting Experience using computers for professional communication and medical documentation (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS or other EHRs) Expertise in treating children, adolescents, and families OptumCare is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
