Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit. Ensure patient safety, assist with invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, and support the clinical team.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub in on invasive cardiology procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, and implantations.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, demonstrating advanced technical skills.
• Maintain and operate specialized equipment including IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, and FFR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately using Mac Lab and Meditech systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and floating policies for different care settings.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years' experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP.
• Demonstrate invasive cardiology scrub and monitor experience.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Exhibit excellent multitasking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday with call rotation.
• Capable of managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
